• Description: A true handmade plain clay roof tile.
• Size: 10.5" x 6.5" (265mm x 165mm nominal).
• Colour: A blend of soft reds and browns.
• Fittings: Eaves / Top tiles, Tile and a half, 300mm Half round ridge, 300mm Hogsback ridge, Bonnet hip tiles, Universal valley tiles, Hanging angles, Ornamental tiles can be made to order.
• Coverage: 60no tiles per square metre.
• Lap: (minimum) 65mm.
• Gauge: (minimum) 100mm.
• Roof Pitch: (minimum) 35 degrees. BS5534:PART 1:1997 recommended minimum is 40 degrees.
• Laying: We would recommend mixing tiles from three packs to ensure good colour consistency and that the tiles should be fixed in accordance with British Standard Code of Practice for Slating and Tiling BS5534 Part 1:1990.

These tests include BS EN 538:1994 for strength, BS EN539-2:1998 for resistance to frost damage and BS EN539-1:1994 for impermeability to water. They are supplied with a factory backed 30 year guarantee against any failure caused by manufacturing defects and production is tested on a regular basis to ensure that these standards ate maintained.
